Care Guide

Every Luminex piece is crafted to last a lifetime. Proper care ensures it ages beautifully and retains its character.

Leather & Bags

Store your leather bags in the provided dust bag when not in use, stuffed with tissue paper to maintain their shape. Keep them away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent drying or fading.

Avoid contact with water, oils, and cosmetics. If your bag gets wet, blot gently with a soft, dry cloth and allow it to air dry naturally — never use a hair dryer or heater.

For deep cleaning or restoration, contact our team. Luminex offers after-sales support for all goods purchased from us.

Footwear

Rotate your shoes and allow them to rest for 24 hours between wears. Use cedar shoe trees to absorb moisture and maintain the shape of the leather.

Clean lightly after each wear with a soft brush or cloth. For polished finishes, use a high-quality cream polish matched to the shoe colour. Suede and nubuck should be brushed gently with a specialised suede brush.

Never machine wash or submerge your shoes in water. Professional cleaning is recommended for stubborn stains or annual maintenance.

Fragrances

Store your fragrance in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperature fluctuations. The ideal spot is a drawer or cabinet, not a bathroom shelf.

Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use to prevent oxidation. Avoid shaking the bottle, as this can introduce air bubbles that degrade the scent profile.

For best sillage and longevity, apply to pulse points — wrists, neck, and behind the ears — on moisturised skin. Do not rub the fragrance in; let it settle naturally.

Garments

Always follow the care label instructions. Delicate fabrics such as silk, tulle, and fine cotton should be hand washed or dry cleaned by a trusted professional.

Hang garments on padded or wooden hangers to preserve shoulder shape. Store in a breathable garment bag rather than plastic, which traps moisture.

Iron on the reverse side at low heat, or use a steamer for delicate pieces. Never apply direct heat to embellished or beaded areas.
